BIOGRAPHY

With Po Bronson, Ashley Merryman authored NurtureShock: New Thinking About Children, the New York Times bestseller which has appeared on over 30 “Best of 2009″ lists. Having written for Newsweek, Time, and New York, Merryman has received numerous awards for her reporting on the science of child development. Merryman lives in Los Angeles, where she directs an all-volunteer tutoring program for inner-city children.
