STRAND: Whole School Issues
DAY: Saturday
TIME: 8:30 - 9:30 am

How are you feeling? It's not an idle question. Feelings matter! The RULER Program is an evidence-based, district-wide approach to social and emotional learning that integrates professional development training and coaching, instructional practices and tools, and student learning activities. In order to create caring, productive and engaging learning environments, we believe it is necessary for schools to provide learning opportunities for all stakeholders to develop and model the skills of Recognizing, Understanding, Labeling, Expressing, and Regulating emotion (known as the "RULER" skills).
