Join the 2009 NYS Teacher of the Year, Debra Calvino, as she discusses a few of the strategies and techniques that have contributed to her success in the classroom. Her experiences as both a math teacher — and as a special education teacher working in a math classroom — give her a unique teaching perspective. She’ll share tips ranging from using the “Red Pen,” to effectively incorporating a Smartboard into the classroom.
