Verizon Thinkfinity
The Verizon Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Verizon Communications, supports the advancement of literacy and K-12 education through its signature program, Verizon Thinkfinity.
Thinkfinity is the Verizon Foundation’s free Web site which provides educators, parents and students with thousands of FREE educational resources including state standards-based, grade specific, K-12 lesson plans and interactive student materials provided in partnership with the nation’s leading educational and literacy organizations. Verizon Thinkfinity is an acclaimed and award-winning education resource and was recently named as a Landmark Web site for teaching and learning by the American Association of School Librarians
In addition to providing educational resources, Verizon Thinkfinity also offers FREE professional development opportunities for educators, including online Webinars and face-to-face training. Our Professional development is aligned to the International Society for Technology in Education’s National Education Technology Standards for Teachers(ISTE’s NETS-T).
To maintain the highest level of excellence, Verizon Thinkfinity’s content partners create or approve all of the resources on the site. Our partners are: The American Association for the Advancement of Science; the Council for Economic Education; the International Reading Association; The John F.
